Matariki Rotations

On Thursday The class went to technology. I did wood works and sewing. In wood works we are making our main boxes. We did test boxes first. I need to make a secret compartment and a lid for my box.

Next we had sewing and I finished making my bag and my mini cushion. The bag was a drawstring bag.

We went back to school and had soup for the matariki celebration.

Then we had break, Me and my friends were digging holes in the sand pit. I dug the deepest hole.

After break we did matariki rotations. There was art, digital tasks and traditional games. I did art. Overall Thursday was a great day.

Careers term

Careers term

Week 1: I did a quiz on Careers NZ.

The quiz had 78 questions about how interested in certain careers
I was. When I finished I had some career choices based
on my answers.

Week 2: I narrowed down my choices to the top five jobs and did
some research on those jobs.

Week 3: I did more research about those jobs and
narrowed down to the top two, mine were
Dog Trainer and Pet Groomer.

Week 4: I chose out of those two jobs and did more research on the
chosen job.

Week 5: The job I chose was Dog Trainer and I decided to do a
slideshow presentation with the information about being a Dog
Trainer.

Week 6: I continued working on my presentation for the
Careers Expo. I decorated the slide and put my information into it.

Week 7: I was done with my presentation. One week until the
Careers Expo.

Week 8: This is what our room looked like.

What you need: A lot of things	Step One. Grab lots of things like paper pencils etc	Step Two. Pour them onto the floor.
Step Three. Spread it out over the floor.	Step Four. Get more stuff.	Step Five. Put it all over the room.

Dance information

I have been doing a dance with some of my friends, Lila, Rylee and Lauryn. But we are not finished. We are still working on it. We are working on making more actions for it.
